Been pretty busy and have been slacking on updating my daily finds, so thought I'd do a catch up post to show you what i have been up to! On Nov 1st I hit a field that had a site that was gone by 1914 and it was over a half mile off the road. I managed to get a 1882 indian, no date shield nickel, CW button and few relics.

A couple days later, Nov 3rd I hit a hit I pounded pretty good last yr, this time I used my tesoro compadre and hit the heaviest of the iron patch, managed a nice 1865 indian, a shot 1863 fatty indian and couple small relics.....not much more

Nov 4th I hit a field I have been working on and pulled a couple early wheats and a 1904 indian and a small opium bottle found laying on the field surface.

Nov 5th, I Started a new site, and this one was gone by 1914 as well, first nite on this site I got 3 indians, 1874, 1875, and 1891, nice brass lock, smashed thimble and a General service CW button.

On saturday Nov 9th, I drove north to hunt with friends in Wauseon Ohio area and got some nice relics, and a real nice 1848 Large Cent.

The next day on Nov 10th, I decided to give the fields a break, and hit some local spots in town. Since it had been almost a month with no silver I wanted to break that slump, very little silver is found in the fields here, so hoping in town I would have a shot. Dug over $8 bucks in clad, cool 1919 dog tag, a neat religious pendant, and FINALLY a silver.....1941 GW quarter!

On friday the 15th, work was slow so I took a vacation day and back to the field site that was half mile off the road where I got the shield nickel a couple weeks prior. I managed to get a one cent trifecta, 3 CW buttons, flat buttons and a couple tokens.

The next day on sat Nov 16th I hit a couple sites I hit earlier this fall and managed to squeeze out a 1800's silver. Got a 1893 barber dime, marble, flat button and a few musket balls.

On sunday Nov 17th I had about an hour to hunt before the rain came in so I hit a close field to my house where I have found a lot of mid 1800's and relics. I used my compadre and hit the heaviest part of the iron trying to coax out a few keepers. Found a few buttons, small wedding band type brass ring, and the find of the day was the almost perfect shape heart heel plate, what a great surprise from a site I have ben hunting for 4 yrs!
