Hit a couple old farm houses after work last nite and they were pretty clean. Got a buff and one and the other one I found a small spill with wheats and a 1950 Rosie. Nothing exciting.

I got out with my buddy on saturday for a door knock and was getting all wheats, but managed to score these 4 indians to save the day! Hunted an old farm after work and only got one coin. But it was a good one! Something I have wanted for a long time. A 1854 altered large cent....the dirty version lol. I have seen several people find these and I always wanted one! So funny how people even used this word in the 1800s. Also got a 1939 chauffeur badge and a mystery item as well.
Hunted an old farm yesterday in between all the rain off and on. Here are my keepers. Couple mercs, 1908 Indian, religious pendant and a cool ring. Too bad it is only plated sure has a nice layer because it is not corroded.
Yesterday was perfect weather, so my buddy and I headed out to do some door knocking. We spotted this large old home and stopped and asked permission. The homeowner gave us the go ahead and told us it was bulit in 1900 and no one has ever asked in the 20 years he has lived there. It was a good yard. I got 4 silver, a 1896 indian, 1921 buffalo, 20 wheats (not shown in clean pic) relics, mystery items and more.....fun day!
Friday after work my buddy and I door knocked an old place in town and I got some wheats, a merc and the three sterling bracelet pieces. Saturday we went out in the country and door knocked and got permission at an old farm house....my favorite place to hunt, love them old farms. Everything else you see in the pics beside the one merc and bracelet pieces came from that farm. Great yard!!!
Yesterday was the first day I was able to hunt in over two months, my area of Ohio had zero rain and the ground was like brown cement. Well this week we got rain everyday, and saturday I was able to get out. My buddy and I went door knocking and stopped at a large old home and asked permission.
I got two spills first was the Franklin half with a wheat, the second was 3 indians in one hole. Found several wheats, 2 silver, the milk token, and 6 indians total, it was a great yard. My buddy found 4 indians, 3 silver, V and buff, and wheats. I think this yard had not been hunted well or never at all Went detecting with a buddy today and we hunted an old spot. Found several early wheats, a small tribe of Indians, buffalo, and V nickels, 1915 barber dime, toe tap and a junker ring. Perfect weather fun times.
Went on a road trip with a buddy and we knocked on a few doors. Had a good day got a penny trifecta including wheats. Two Indians and. 1849 large cent. Found big silver too 1918 walker which was my first half this year! Also found a cool knights of Columbus shield not sure what it is off of though. Good day although it was blazing hot!!!
Got off work early thursday and went door knocking at a few places. Ended up getting 4 wheats a suspended buckle, a 1942 merc dime, 1929 buffalo nickel, and a 1894 Indian penny.
Had a pretty good hunt after work Friday nite. Knocked doors at a couple farm houses. Got tokens, two silver Rosies, an Indian and of course wheats. The 1923 Delphos fair token is the find of the nite and is the second one I have dug. Found one about five years ago in a field but this one is about as good as u can get for a dug token!
