Finally got out for my first hunt of the year. Weather was beautiful I wasn't on call and had no plans. Found first silver of the year, a buffalo and 1890 indian. Felt good to dig again

Terry you continue to inspire me! Your willingness to help others, and share your e-Trac settings saved my machine. If you ever get down towards Nashville, please contact us in advance so we can take you on a Civil War hunt!

That is a fine handful of loot. I was wondering if you are still using the 6x8 SEF. I have read some folks saying that that coil will turn old used up sites into fresh pickings because of the separation. I currently use the Coiltech 6" for a small coil. It seems ok, but I don't seem to find anything deep. It seems as if it can find things on the surface that are mixed in with iron, but if it is any lower than an inch, forget it. Pls respond if you can. Thx, Mike in AZ
